SSB4 - Twilight Sparkle

TWLIGHT SPARKLE

A gifted unicorn who lives in Ponyville.  She is the faithful student of the ruler of Equestria, Princess Celestia.  She is very studious and tends to be analytical in solving problems. She has difficulties with making new friends.  She is able to perform a wide variety of magic.  

Alright, bare with me on this.  Twilight would be an odd pick in the roster, mostly because of the way she fights.  She would be seen with a book of spells floating by her side.  She performs most of her attacks with the book and rarely does physical attacks.  Because she has untapped potential, some of her direct moves would be really strong, and could be on par with Ganondorf's moves.

A – Horn Shot
- Twilight's horn will glow a fire a single magic flame that travels across the stage in a straight lines

Side A – Short Shot
- Twilight will fire a single magic flame from her book.  It's slower than the Horn Shot.

Up A – Jump
- Twilight will jump once in place and hit anyone who crosses her path.

Down A – Page Spark
- Twilight will sit down with her book open as if she were reading it.  The book will release several sparks of magic.

Dash A – Unicorn Horn
- When Twilight runs, Her horn will glow with magic and shock her opponent.

Side Smash – Back Kick
- No matter what direction she is facing, Twlight will turn around and perform a strong kick with her rear legs.

Up Smash – Arc Swipe
- Twilight's magically charged book will open above her body and release a strong burst of energy.

Down Smash – Burst Swirl
- Twilight's magically charged book will encircle her body several times, hitting anyone who gets in the way.

Air A – Stretch
- Raises and stretches out her hind and rear legs

Air Front A – Page Punch
- Performs a lowercut punch with her book

Air Back A – Page Swing
- The book dashes in a rainbow arc over Twlight

Air Up A – Page Arc
- The book dashes in a upside down rainbow arc undr Twilight

Air Down A – Hoof Jab
- Thrusts her four limbs downward

Standard Special – Burst Beam
- This move is a cross between the Wario Waft and the Zero Laser.  The first time it's used, Twlight will release a small blast of magic from her book.  The attack becomes much stronger the longer you go without using it.  When Twilight starts blinking, that means the attack is fully charged.  When the button is pressed, her book will unleash a great beam of magic that shoots right across the stage.  The trick is to be patient.

Side Special – Paper Cut
- Basically, Twilight will telekinetically hit people with her book as if the book were a sword.  It also has the same function as Marth's Dancing Blade.

Up Special – Teleportation
- Twilight will vanish into a thin air and will re-appear a small distance from her original spot.  The functions of this move are reminiscent of those of Pikachu's Quick Attack.

Down Special – Shield
- Conjures a shield in front of Twilight.  This shield will only last for three seconds.  If anyone physically attacks this shield, the shield will react and release small sparks of energy.  Projectiles will bounce off the shield


Final Smash – Element of Magic
- This move is a cross between the Elements of Harmony and Twilight's "Jean Grey" moment.  When Twilight grabs the Smash Ball and activates her Final Smash, she'll gain a pair of Pegasus wings, her golden tiara, and an aura of invincibility.  As you control flying across the stage, she'll leave behind a rainbow streak, which will damage anyone who touches it.  When the Final Smash ends, she'll release a strong burst of magic and sends anyone close to it flying back.

Grab – Magic Hand
- A magical hand forms around the book and grabs the nearest opponent.

Pummel – Shock
- Shocks the opponent with magical energy

Front Throw – Head-butt
- The hand holds the opponent like a football about to be punted, leaving Twilight free to head-butt the football!

Back Throw – Toss Away
- The hand throws the opponent behind Twilight

Up Throw – Upper Punch
- The hand will throw the opponent into the air.  Then the book will open and release several shots of magical energy.

Down Throw – Fist Smash
- The hand drops the opponent, forms into a fist, and basically slams onto the opponent.

Snake: Colonel!  Is that horse reading a book?

Colonel: She's a pony, Snake.  Her name is Twilight Sparkle.

Snake: A . . . pony?  Twilight Sparkle?  Are you serious?

Colonel:  Absolutely.  She's Princess Celestia's prized student and her magic is extremely dangerous.
Snake: Wait a minute.  How dangerous are we talking?

Colonel: Twilight has untapped magic powers.  It could emerge at any time, and when does, she's unable to control it.

Snake: You mean . . . like when a machine overloads?

Colonel: Exactly.  She's learning to tame her powers through focused study.  My guess is that being here is part of her training.

Snake: Yeah, but why here?  I mean, she's not from a video game.

Colonel: You would be surprised at the fanbase she has.  You should watch her in her world some time.  You might become a brony yourself.

Snake: A . . . brony?  Huh.  I'll be the judge of that.

- Flies in on a chariot driven by Celestia's guards

Kirby Hat
When Kirby copies Twilight, he'll gain a hat that looks like Twilight's head, complete with hair and unicorn horn.  He'll also have a small book floating by his side


Taunts
- Opens her book and flips through several pages
- Stamps her hoof and prepares to charge
- Looks at the camera and giggles nervously

Victory Poses
- With the book moving around her, she looks into the camera saying, "Well that wasn't so bad."
- Hops up and down in a circle saying, "Yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes!"
- Sits down with a feather writing in the book, saying, "Dear Princess Celestia . . . "
